I will wait patiently
When the world your caught up in fades, come to me
And you know Im not holding my breathe
But you know how to find me
And you know theres a knot in my chest
Only you can untie me

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you wanted, baby

All your reasons are wrong,
Now I know why you run
And I'm not leaving

Before I got that your just lost
I used to think that I wasn't enough

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you want, baby

You're safe, safe with me
I hope that Ive shown you enough to believe
And you know Im not holding my breath
but you know how to find me
And you know theres a knot in my chest
and only you can untie me

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you wanted, baby

All your reasons are wrong,
Now I know why you run
And I'm not leaving

Before I got that your just lost
I used to think that I wasn't enough

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you want, baby

Its never too late to put the past away
Its never too late to put the past away
Its never too late to put the past away
It's never too late to quit the masquerade
(until the end)

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you wanted, baby

All your reasons are wrong,
Now I know why you run
And I'm not leaving

Before I got that your just lost
I used to think that I wasn't enough

When you're ready for love
Cause you know all along
I'm the one that you want, baby

Okay, well, I thought I'd post my interpertation, PAIGE...

When you're ready for love Cause you know all along I'm the one that you wanted, baby

All your reasons are wrong, Now I know why you run And I'm not leaving

Before I got that your just lost I used to think that I wasn't enough

When you're ready for love Cause you know all along I'm the one that you want baby

You're safe, safe with me...(for the 2nd verse)

It's never too late to put the past way, it's never too late to quit the masquerade...

Paige, you did a half ass job of an amazing song. but anyway, totally relate to this, about being in a relationship, where you really liek the person and tehy really like you, but they act shady and strange about everything, cause that's what they think is cool, or such... basically, they just don't know how to show it really, and they could be afraid of commitment and things liek that...

anyhow, i love it. love it love it love it.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Amazing

Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
