This song is so seductive and dark.

I think it's about how fragile the mind is. It holds so much information, and yet we can be disturbed or beat down by just one thing, if it really strikes us in the right spot.

You could also interpret it as a strand of DNA. It's so fragile; When it falls apart we get cancer and die. There are so many things in the world that can mutate our DNA like this. It just takes a gentle hand from our environment.

Even if you live long enough to not die from organ failure or any any number of tragic events, you'll still die from cancer. Humans are meant to die. It's built into our DNA.

This song speaks to me about the difference between a young and old person in terms of their outlooks on life. The older soul is jaded and has forgotten that all it takes is one little thing to make everything change. The young soul knows this and sees the limitless possibilities. Personally, I think, in terms of love. All it takes is your (someone's) hand for the whole thing to start, but people get stuck in their ways and self-defeating attitudes and forget how to just reach for someone's hand and change the path they're on.
