He doesn't suck at writing, he just doesn't use big words to symbolize a simple idea. Look at Whitechapel's lyrics for instance. And Emmure is more about feeling angry emotions and he sings about what he thinks and he just says it how he thinks it. In my opinion. Seems logical.

I cannot believe that people still haven't realized yet that Emmure is not trying to be lyrical genius's. They just wanna sound hardcore and they do a pretty good job. Some of these lyrics might suck but when they play them live it's fucking awesome.
