This song is the perfect song about a girl that thinks she can get any guy that she wants and uses them. It's funny to hear it from a guy's perspective (like a guy turning down a girl that gets around). Normally it's a girl singing about a guy that's a player.

I hear a guy singing to a girl who he believes is popoular with men. He sounds angry and petty. He wants to be with her but he's not because he feels he doesn't measure up. Either that or at one time she rejected him. But he's hopeful. He is anxious to finally measure up in her eyes so he can look at her and say something along the lines of too bad, chicky poo, you had your chance but now it's I who don't want you. Interesting song. Interesting band.
