At first I thought this was about being a victim to abuse, but then she says she wants to let him in.. So maybe this is just about letting a man in her life by crying.

i dont think it's about a relationship...i think it's about her moving on with her life...she wants to let go of everything she's kept inside and just be free to live again...she wants a clean slate...to start over (wash me clean)...and for the "let you in" part...that could be all the people in her life... not just one...tht she wants to let back in...she doesn't wanna lie anymore about what she's feeling...she just wants them to see her for who she is and move past it all...
that's what i think anyway...it seems to be the most logical explanation...
