even though she loves him, bigger things in life are forcing her to leave him, but she still wants him to know she will never be able to forget or replace him and what he did for her. he has made an amazing impact in her life and has filled her heart with a spot that can never be removed , replaced, or forgotten. very touching song, but sadly it is often how life goes.

It's definitely about a person who hit an "emotional limit" in the relationship and wasn't "feeling it" anymore, for whatever reason. The vocals are catchy, and the lyrics are beautifully written.

I agree with ^exeF on the message in a different way. It's a perfectly legit reason to break up with someone: she needs to be free to see for sure if the decision she made is the right or wrong one. However, this song is a horrible reason to stay broken up with someone you still love.

If there's no connection anymore, that's fine. But if there IS, if you find that special person still being a part of everything you do, that you find yourself still missing them, and that you feel special when you see them again, don't wait! Love leaves you if you don't care for it.

Wow.. this song really touches me. Currently I broke up with my ex-boyfriend I had been going out with for 7 months. He thought we were going to be together forever.. but there was times when I was with him, when I felt held down, it's very hard to explain. But when we broke up I felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulder, and there are many times I miss him, and want to hug him and kiss him and tell him everythings okay, but I have to move on. I just want to let him know, he was a big part of my life, but I need to move on, and he's still "a part of everything I do."
