Radiologue Lyrics
*Actual title of song is Radiolounge*
I'll be going now
either way that the wind blows
I'll be back though
Leave a light in the window
When the waves die down
I'll be halfway 'round
and I'll call you
When the sun blocks out
hold the radio up to the phone
I was dreaming I was heading west thirty days faster
Had a fever
woke up in a sweat
bailing out the water
Can't go on
Can't go back
Heard your voice coming through the noise
wrote it in the radio log
Hurt my head, wondering what you said
so I threw it overboard
either way that the wind blows
I'll be back though
Leave a light in the window
When the waves die down
I'll be halfway 'round
and I'll call you
When the sun blocks out
hold the radio up to the phone
Had a fever
woke up in a sweat
bailing out the water
Can't go back
wrote it in the radio log
Hurt my head, wondering what you said
so I threw it overboard

This song is about about Donald Crowhurst. A brit who entered the first race to sail solo around the world. His boat took on water early and he wasn't really moving, but he kept radioing back to shore as if he was making it around the world. He sat in the same place for months waiting for the others to pass so he could slip in behind. Everyone else sank or quit so when he realized he was going to win and have his logs checked he freaked and killed himself.
This makes perfect sense. The music is on par with the strangeness of the case of Donald Crowhurst.

The perfect mix of aggressiveness and spaced out synth work.
I'm not sure what to make of these lyrics. The music itself makes me think of chaos.. inner chaos in this case with its layered synths and tremolo picking but I'm not sure what to make of the rest. Does anyone have an idea of what this might be about?
I beleive its about dealing with some sort of inner turmoil possibly his life is to complicated to deal with this person he is talking about during this time, but when the waves die down(he gets better) hell call, and also leave a light on in the window for when he is better
I'm really not sure, especially considering the name of the band relates to communication systems i think he's trying to express the difficulty he's finding communicating whilst finding himself in a moment of helplessness. basically he "cant go on, cant go back" so instead he just ups and leaves (which seems to be a common theme in their lyrics) and while he's gone he fails to communicate (When the sun blocks out, hold the radio up to the phone) and is confused and frustrated trying to understand what people are trying to tell him (the last verse) i love this band, i only discovered them recently but i think they are the future of heavy music and nothing less! lol

This one's easy. He's stepping out of a relationship, asking for a timeout to think things through. He tells her that when the "waves die down" (meaning the emotional turmoil) he'll go back to her.
But at a given moment he dreams he's "heading west" (traveling 'west' is always a theme for hopeful change in Moore's works), meaning in his mind he's already leaving her behind; forgetting her. He can't go on because he's still heartbroken and needs someone to love or care for him, but he can't go back because it's already too late and no longer feels as strong for her as he did.
She then calls him because she misses him and speaks her mind about his wanderlust, after which he writes it down "in the radio log" (probably meaning he wanted to write a song about it). He couldn't make sense about it all, though, so he decides to just let it go.
How has this been on here for this long with the WRONG title... o.o
It's RadioLOUNGE, not logue...

@h0llyr0se It's Radiologue, not lounge... Lounge makes no sense whatever.

@h0llyr0se Are you sure? It is all over the internet as radiologue. eg, try youtube. Search for osi radiologue and radiolounge. I don't have the album/cd, so I cannot check what is on the cover
