Something about this song really struck me when I first heard it, the overall sound has really stuck with me :)
Kinda makes me think of that feeling you get about a relationship, a "fragile tension" that's there, you don't know where it's going to go or what will happen but you can only hope that it'll go well. I think I just can relate it to a situation I was in last year!

Makes me think of a suspension party. Where the people hook metal rings inside their skin and they suspend themselves from the ceiling by their skin......flying through the air held up by their own bodies.

yeah this one stuck out to me too.. like the new album a lot... takin a few listens, but its is bbetter every time.,,
i think he says "through glittering garlins, without even trying". its definitely not what it says up there.
but in that webclip of dave recording the vocals of this song, there was a "no on prop 8" sign behind him. and prop 8 was the ballot measure that if passed (which it did), gay people couldn't get married in CA. when i read the lyrics and really listened to them, i kinda thought the two things coincided a bit. but whatever, it's still a really cool song. i hope they play it at the hollywood bowl in august!
