Sink Into Me Lyrics
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
Come on, tell me that you’re better
And you rather just forget that
Things have gone so far
Yeah, tell me that you’re better
And you'd rather just forget that
Things have gone too far
You're all I see, sink into me
Sharpen your teeth, sink into me
Sink into me (sink in, sink in)
I'd like to see our roles reversed
To watch you hang on every word
I'd like to see you have your way
I keep my grammar well rehearsed
Correct each stutter, every slur
Come on and have your way with me
Now tell me that you’re better
And you rather just forget that
Things have gone so far
You tell me that you’re better
And you'd rather just forget that
Yeah, things have gone too far
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
You're all I see, sink into me
Sharpen your teeth, sink into me
Sink into me (sink in, sink in)
Well, I'd like to see our roles reversed
To watch you hang on every word
I'd like to see you have your way
I keep my grammar well rehearsed
Correct each stutter, every slur
Come on and have your way with me
Come on and have your way with me
I'd like to be a note
The kind you could sing
But don't because you're shy
That way I'll live inside your throat
And hang from every word you spoke
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
You're all I see, sink into me
Sharpen your teeth, sink into me
Sink into me (sink in, sink in)
I'd like to see you have your way
Come on, have your way with me
(Aim for every word you spoke)
I'd like to see you have your way

Looks pretty good. These are the ones from tbsunion. There's a few things that I think they have right that you don't. Besides it being a bit repetitive, I really like this song.

hey, thanks :D
hey, thanks :D
This song is perfect. I can't wait for the new album.
this song is great. in my opinion, this song's lyrics seem to have a deeper depth over adam's older lyrics. anyways, what i think:
i think this song is basically a guy who is willing to do anything for a girl. even if it has to hurt him. i believe the first verse has a sarcastic tone to it, and the first half of the chorus is basically the guy trying to show the girl how he feels, "Well I'd like to see all roles reversed". and the second half of the chorus telling her that he tries to be perfect to win her back, "I keep my grammer well rehearsed": meaning that he makes sure that everything he says to her gets to her.
and basically, the song goes on from there.
just my opinion:D
"I'd like to be a note The kind you could sing But don't because you're shy That way I'll live inside your throat And aim for every word you spoke"
best part of the song. especially the "ahhh" that follows after. haha. TBS is sick.
ok the songs different, but i wouldn't say its the worse song they have. I think its actually pretty good, it shows how Adam's progressed as a person as well as an artist.
honestly it really annoys me when people say that they wish tbs would go back to sounding like tayf, thats my fave album and all but if they kept making albums that sounded the same, no one would like that and they would be saying how tbs shouldn't sound the same all the time. anyways i love each album they're all unique and have their own sound to them.
this song is obviously about twilight...duh. sikeee but i'm super excited for the new album. i was kind of scared about what was gonna come out considering fred's gone and it's been 3+ years since louder now but this does not disappoint. :)
it would be neat if this song was on one of the twilight saga albums......

what does this song mean btw??
what does this song mean btw??
This song is obviously not literal with "Sharpen your teeth, sink into me" It is not about vampires, or Twilight.

you're an idiot. why the hell would TBS write a song about twilight? Lol and they don't mean "sharpen your teeth, sink into me" literally. ever heard of a metaphore?? -_- you twilight fans annoy the shit out of me

Awesome, awesome, awesome song. I can't believe it's been so long since TBS came out with something new.
I was actually really disappointed with Louder Now (I only /really/ liked "MakeDamnSure"), so I'm hoping this new album will sound more like TBS's old stuff instead of poppy and trendy like Louder Now did. Hell, if the rest of New Again sounds like this song, I'll be damn pleased. (:
I'm not too sure about the meaning of this song, but it almost sounds like a guy singing about a pushy, controlling girlfriend whom he still loves very much.
I actually really like this one. I too was disappointed with Louder Now, and I think this is a big step up from that.
That said, I have no idea what it's about. Probably what masterjj16 said.
"I'd like to be a note The kind you could sing But don't because you're shy That way I'll live inside your throat And aim for every word you spoke"
This refers to Chauntelle. She used to sing in Eisley but gave it up, because she was shy/nervous.
