Hug Me Lyrics

You hold me close, naked, I don't feel a thing
Your zipper's all but cherry, but I don't feel anything
Your mind is stranded down
I'm closing you in my arms
And not grow overweight and plastic anyday

Hug me 'til you drug me, honey hug me, anyway

Your eyes are dusty dirt porn magazines
You're lazy, selfish, yeah you were raised that way
It's a hole that he was bred
I'll take your pants, you take my hair
And let us dance and choose the happy and depressed

Hug me til you drug me, honey, hug me
Drug me til you love me, honey, hug me

Wait, wait
I swear I've seen that face somewhere
It's very face I fell for in the human race
I can't lie, I was brainwashed to be honest
In this brave new world that slowly passes by

I'm just a girl learning to act as planned
I was programmed to be Catholic, but I ran
I changed my race, I changed my name
I prayed to them, please, what is brave?
I am loyal because I was simply raised that way

Hug me til you drug me, honey, hug me
Hug me til you suffocate me, hug me, honey

Wait, wait
I swear I've seen that face somewhere
it's very face I fell for in the human race
I can't lie, I was brainwashed to be honest
in this brave new world that slowly passes by

By the way, I never liked your hands on me
Never liked your ideas of what is beautiful
Or really truly holy
I must say you've thrown, your apathy away
Go back into your diapers
Will you die first before you admit the truth

Wait, wait
I swear I've seen that face somewhere
It's very face I fell for in the human race
I can't lie, I was brainwashed to be honest
In this brave new world that slowly passes by

I can't lie, I was brainwashed to be honest
In this brave new world that slowly passes by

This brave new world that slowly passes by

Wait, wait
I swear I've seen that face somewhere
It's very face I fell for in the human race
I can't lie, I was brainwashed to be honest
In this brave new world that slowly passes by

ARe Extraordinary!

Sounds likes it's a About a Boy or Maybe a girl? And the Relationship went sour??

Well, it certainly is about a relationship that went sour, that's for sure. This song is based on Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. (You should read it, it's a great book!) The song seems to be going back and forth into the perspectives of Lenina and John; how John hates how empty and promiscuous the new society is, and how Lenina can't seem to overcome her conditioning to understand John's crazy 'ancient' appreciation of religion and beauty. The 'hug me til you drug me, honey' is a direct quote from the book, which is a popular song in the new...

I agree with 2cute2bstrait; it's probably about a relationship that didn't end too well.

Their new C-D surely makes a lot of references and doubts toward religion. And I understand Dia's agnostic while Meg is atheist.

"I was programmed to be Catholic, but I ran." <---Nice.

Oh, and I WISH it was about a girl. I have the hugest crush on Meg. Lmfao! Supposedly there are rumors that she is bisexual–or even a lesbian!–But I highly doubt that. D':

I read Brave New World because of this song. And I can't decide which character during which parts of the song is about... like, it seems like it revolves around Lenina and John a lot. obviously, lol. and Lenina and John are both loyal, though not necessarily to each other. Lenina was with Henry, for a while at least, and John WOULD be loyal, but he's got difficulties with accepted who Lenina is. So, idk. But STILL totally love the song<3 Great job Meg & Dia!

the song is based off of Brave New World. there is a line in the book that goes "hug me til you drug me hunny, kiss me til i'm in a coma, hug me, honey, snuggle bunny, loves as good a soma" i though of this song instantly when i read the book and when Linda is trying to make John sleep with her and she's singing to him.

my bad i meant Lenina not linda XD
