The Great Shipwreck Of Life Lyrics

We can make you understand
We can make you understand

Play with me
You can make the love and I'll make the money
Stay with me
Shut out the world live underneath the city
Release cold gender bombs on colonial closet
Middle England
Stay with me
I'll be Peter Pan and you just be pretty

To the brave and the petrified
We all fall down
To the slaved and the civilised
We all fall down
To the lovers we left behind
The bad days, the good nights
In the great shipwreck of life
We all fall down

Born we are
Between the hard black rock
And the cold of the immortal
Torn from cause
From the flames of the brave and the bosom we can't return to
We light up the bars of the world
With the decadent essence of innocence
Oh
Free but sharp
We can be the centerline guiding through the dark
Oh

To the brave and the petrified
We all fall down
To the slaved and the civilised
We all fall down
To the lovers we left behind
The bad days, the good nights
In the great shipwreck of life
We all fall down

(Manifesto, black fire)
We can make you understand
(Of liberty and bright light, beautiful)
We can make you understand
(Secret, this comparison between)
We can make you understand
(True, but stupid, not priest)
We can make you understand

To the brave and the petrified
We all fall down
To the slaved and the civilised
We all fall down
To the lovers we left behind
The bad days, the good nights
In the great shipwreck of life
We all fall down

We can make you understand
We can make you understand

i think its pretty simplistic... although ive been proved wrong with Chris' work.

im thinking its about that we all have bad days, and those who pretend nothing can harm them (politicians?) are just as human as us - but we always rely on them?

im not really sure if im honest :P

it's: "play with me.. you can make the love and DON'T make the money" isn't it.

Is it not "to the bosom we can't return to" and not "blossom"? Meaning we can't get back to the innocent, secure state of being a baby. But we have to sense the responsiibility of every action we take.

I think the new album is so unbearable wholehearted, and this song aswell
