i think it's about being young (You will blossom soon and grow and change) and hating the world, like they're too loving and warm for the shitty world - which puts them in '..a cage with a daily maze of flesh and rage'.
maybe its about relationships when one of the partners owergrown another,i mean mentally. And now they brakeup, but they shure they will be happy. Any way it's about life an fear of living. I like this song.
