Does "she" represent the nature? The song reminds me of a song in album "Nighttime Bird" - The earth is my witness.

The earth is my witness seems to indicate how we ignore the regeneration of earth itself and still exploit the resources with carelessness.. While this song makes me think that after what we've done to the earth, to the nature, there is only silence remaining.. We've deprived birds of their homes by cutting down trees, so the birds no longer exists in this area which is replaced by an eerie calm..
