An absolutely beautiful song it is....the violin is amazing!

its about two people who are in a relationship that is going really bad. the guy doesn't feel like he is loved anymore, but the girl doesn't care, and this is hell for him.

This song is about a couple where all they ever do is fight and argue.

"stop stareing youre the reason i feel unhappy all the time look ive given you everything I know how youre standing ontop of my shoe youre keeping me from gaining ground"

She is his life and he is kinda obsessing just wanting to keep her happy but at the same time she is holding him back in a sense. She never want to work things out and wants to pretend everything is ok. He can never get a sense of security or comfort from her as he once did.

"You're too scared, scared of all of it I get the feeling I'm talking to the wall Can you hear me at all? Look, my world was shaking My mind was quaking My heart was breaking I threw it against the wall Can anyone feel me at all?"

She is doesnt want to acknowlege their problems "youre too scare scared of all of it" But he still trys but she wont listen to him or even consider what he has to say. Through all the problems and him trying to keep himself together his whole world is pretty much coming down on him.

So in short this song is about arelationship that is either going to end or should end.

Good song, there are better songs of BO but the lyrics touch me personal...

This is like exactly how I feel in my relationship right now, but we don't fight at all... My bf is very depressed right now, and he has been avoiding me- then there are days when he is in a good mood, and sometimes he talks to me but most of the time I feel like I'm being ignored and we never hang out anymore... I feel like I should end it but I know I would regret it because the way he's acting right now isn't really like him... But it's still hurting me.

Anyway, I love this song, such a catchy upbeat tune with such sad lyrics, but it's also kinda like "hey!" in your face- confrontational? Dunno how to describe it...

I read or watched an interview and Justin said this song is about some guy from the production teams of this album. he was in a relationship where basically he wasnt loved and he wrote that about him.

This song reminds me of my relationship with my stepmother.

She makes me extremely anxious and nervous, I literally cant breath or be myself when around her. I have done nothing wrong towards her, but her judgment and sarcastic comments hurts me so much that I stopped visiting my father.

When I first met her she promised to be there for me and support me. I feel betrayed.
