I like the Poe reference at the end there. Boom boom boom.
he used to say "I'm such a coward, such a piss ant, a shit, i shoulda killed you when i had the chance!"
that line got me at their show, so
then this song fucked up my summer and fall. now it finally comes out on record and he changed all my favorite lines.
however
the meaning of the song is that on their last album cursive feebly lauded man and cursed religion. on this album they're cursing man from a religious standpoint but the curse of religion is there too. there is no hope. i hate this worldview and wish it wasn't my own.

For me this song seems to be Tim saying to the devil, "we're going to hell, we're going to hell." The devil is mimicking him, to mock him.
This is a pretty funny song; Tim: "I don't want to know what you've done!" Devil: "Well, look at yourself, what have YOU done!?"
