sometimes i feel like this song is personally for me. in the beginning, how he is describing how the girl feels, that's exactly how i feel like. i love this song.

I think the title goes perfectly good with this song. Its human nature to doubt ourselves at times. To see what others see in us. Even if this only happnes once in our lifetime. The girl in the song doesn't know how much she means to someone, and she's beutiful inside and out (built with a beutiful mind). It seems like the song would be to a friend or a sister. Im getting the sisterly vibe in this song. Lol

The song is about his sister,I think she has an eating disdorder There are a lot of clues(deep, deep inside of your heart there is a weight that still needs to be lifted) Her weight needs to be lifted but she thiks she is not skinny enough but deep down inside she knows shes too skinny

all you ever wanted was to fit in..she was made fun of or maybe even overweight previous to her illness

I've heard its about his sister but I'm not sure about the whole eating disorder thing? I don't think the lyrics were meant to be literal.

I don't know anything about it being about a sister or eating disorders or anything, this is just my personal opinion. It sounds like it might be about someone suffering from depression?

"You cover it up, but the pain never stops" A lot of times, people are ashamed of themselves and everything so they cover it up and try to act normal, etc, I can't really explain =p

So there you go. My most likely incorrect (but you've got to admit, it's thorough) interpretation of the song Humans by The Scene Aesthetic.
