"They can't comprehend or even come close to understanding him" He's saying you don't understand him and you can't because he has struggles beyond your comprehension.

"I guess if I was boing they would love me more Guess if I was simple in the mind Everything would be fine" He goes so complex into describing how he feels and with this he's saying if he didn't that way if he didn't go through the struggles that he faces then, maybe people would like him more and everything would be fine.

"Maybe if I was jerk to girls Instead of being nice and speakin kind words But then maybe it would be ok to say then I wasn't a good guy to begin with" He's basically saying he treats women with respect and loves them but in the end they end up hurting him even though he didn't do anything to hurt them.

He feels like things aren't real like he's living in a fantasy and thinks he's going crazy because he can't find an explanation to what is going on with himself. It sound as if he is having feelings of depersonalization and/or derealization.

And again he feels like he's going crazy.. he feels different than everyone else like possibly an alien hence his nickname for himself "man on the moon." He uses his drugs to get his spirits up also another reason for his nickname.

"Close my eyes, hide in the dark It's a curtain call, come one come all" Not exactly sure about this part to be honest. I'm still analyzing it.

But now he's the one on top not them.

The meaning basically is he was mistreated in his early years, before he was famous. In this song he is trying to explain how he was treated like he was alien, hence "From above, above, above, above..." he explains it more thorough throughout the song. These lyrics are off, and they don't include a couple parts of the song. when he says, "You gon' love me man..." meaning that when hes famous they will love his songs and regret how they treated him. He closes the song by saying how he was called lame, but he has a life, hes rich and fly, and hes awesome, and they are the ones who are lame....

This may be inaccurate, its my interpretation of it... cause it could be a true life story for him, and maybe this is how he was inspired to create this song, to rub it in the haterz faces.

well the lyrics in this shit are completely off someone must not be a true cudi fan, but I agree with CGrizzy's reply. any fan of his music can find a way to relate to him in your own way. he is a musical genius. love this song and the fact that he is a rapper with musicality. something i can respect.

like how when you're famous, people put you on a pedestal. they think you're perfect, like you're a God from heaven. So i think he is writing about how people have a misconception of him; he's really just like everyone else.

I feel like he is writing about how everybody doubted him. Making fun of him just cause he is different. Even though his different is so god damn refreshing to everyone that listens to it. He basically is saying fuck all of you haters I don't give a fuck and I am gonna rap from the heart because in the end I am going to be the one that is actually satisfied with what I have done.

wow what a good song so inspiring cudi is re-inventing the game and i dont even listen to that much rap but you gotta love when more hip-hop artist use more strings in their songs and stray away from those generic beats and rythms.

I think this song is about how he's so different. That they thought he was 'from above', because he wasn't doing what everyone else was doing. I don't know, but that is just what i think. I love Kid Cudi tho, so amazing.
