verse 1
-------
this room is so cold
it feels like a ghost
right here in my home
the dead will riot and they'll roam
flipping off the lights, try to chase me out
pulling at my hair just to hear a shout
i know you're here with me
you're not dead but you wish you could be

pre-chorus
----------
in my bed with me inside your skin
i'm not giving in, i'm not giving in

chorus
------
watch the shutters
watch 'em tremble now
in the silence
in the night spun out
and violently the ghost will roam
always strung out, never alone

verse 2
-------
i wake up so scared
i know that you're there
a breath from your lungs
froze my heart to life in fear
static on the screen, try to reel me in
mute the silent scream, anything to win
cut a slit straight down my chest
sink within, wear my ribs as a vest

pre-chorus
----------
in my bed with you inside my skin
you're not giving in, you're not giving in

(chorus)

I can't even comprehend to this song... it's all over the place. I don't know if I can actually put it into words. What this makes me think of, what I can relate it too. It's just amazing. I'm always listening to them.

ok.. i'll explain what im getting at. This whole ep has the concept of letting go of someone that really hurt you. The desire to be rid of that person forever.

This song, to sum it up, is giving in to the person. I'll explain:

Verse 1. this room is so cold it feels like a ghost (he's describing the situation. you're sitting with the person. they're trying to talk to you about the relationship.. and it's all so bad to you, that you almost freeze at the thought.)

right here in my home the dead will riot and they'll roam (the person is getting frustrated. you arent giving in. the dead represents the past. they're using anything to get you back into the spell.. that controlling thing.)

flipping off the lights, try to chase me out pulling at my hair just to hear a shout i know you're here with me you're not dead but you wish you could be (Basically.. he's saying. try and tempt me with your body. i won't fall for it, AS he's contradicting himself. He's weak for sex.. and she's using that against him. he then clears up.. the girl isn't a ghost. and it's basically her tempting him any way she can, til she resorts to fucking him for his attention)

watch the shutters watch 'em tremble now in the silence in the night spun out and violently the ghost will roam always strung out, never alone (Basically.. the chorus is setting the pace for how the relationship is.. no matter how hard he tries.. he's scared because he knows that his girl is going to go out, and never be alone AKA. be a slut. go out at night and fuck someone else like always. but he's weak for the physical shit.. the good times.)

i wake up so scared i know that you're there a breath from your lungs froze my heart to life in fear (Okay. he wakes up next to the girl the next morning after verse 1 where he boned her. He regrets it. he doesnt realize it at first. maybe they were drunk idk.. but he wakes up next to this girl that hurt him so many times. his heart drops. he made the mistake.)

static on the screen, try to reel me in mute the silent scream, anything to win cut a slit straight down my chest sink within, wear my ribs as a vest (This is him describing that he's fallen for her again, but he doesnt want to accept it. She's doing everything to get him back. The static on the screen is a reference to the movie Poltergiest, with the tv taking the little girl. "Mute the silent scream" just says.. She'll do ANYTHING. do the impossible as it seems to him. The next two lines describe how his heart is. She's earned a spot there. She's entering his heart, to be with him. He loves her. She knows it, so she's taking full advantage of that to get him back.)

I hope you understand now. =) if not i can try it in english
