Gates Lyrics
I've been looking for a new course
A different way to say Your name, to hear Your voice
I've gotta find new chords
Well how my new body, it shines
Somehow your blood makes You blind
To our divide, I am all Yours
We will wear compassion
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell
Won't stand against it
We will wear compassion
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell
They won't stand, they won't stand against it.
We will wear compassion
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell (and the gates of Hell, they won't stand against it!)
They won't stand against it.
We will wear compassion
We will wear it (we will wear it)
And the gates of Hell (and the gates of Hell, they won't stand against it!)
They won't stand, they won't stand against it
A different way to say Your name, to hear Your voice
I've gotta find new chords
Well how my new body, it shines
Somehow your blood makes You blind
To our divide, I am all Yours
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell
Won't stand against it
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell
They won't stand, they won't stand against it.
We will wear it
And the gates of Hell (and the gates of Hell, they won't stand against it!)
They won't stand against it.
We will wear it (we will wear it)
And the gates of Hell (and the gates of Hell, they won't stand against it!)
They won't stand, they won't stand against it

This song was posted on their MySpace a few days ago. I hope I got most of the lyrics right. The actual song isn't anything new... they would play this song during shows as "Outro". Hence why TJ makes an appearance.
Regardless, I hope it makes it into their new album ^_^
not too sure about the first part. sounds good to me. but I think the chorus goes: (oh, and I included TJ's back-up vocals in the parenthesis below)

Thanks for the corrections. I've updated the lyrics. The more I listen to this song the more amazing it sounds.
not yet, but i hope it makes it into their upcoming album.
I think he says "to our divine, I am all yours"
as in "God, I am all yours"
fixed, thanks.
fixed, thanks.
Is this on any of their albums?
amazing song.
I think the first line is "ive been looking for a new course."
The lyrics are:
Somehow your blood makes you blind To our DIVIDE, I am all yours.
It's not "our divine"
Just thought I'd give you the heads up.
new album April 21st, Hell or High Water
I think this makes more sense
"Somehow your blood makes you blind To our DIVIDE
I am all Yours"
Basically by Jesus dying for us, it doesn't matter how undeserving we are, we can accept forgiveness.
The gist of it is that Jesus' blood makes a "bridge" to God
Also there's a spelling mistake
"I've been looking for a new CHORUS"
This song is absolutely amazing. I was so happy when they put it on their myspace. I also pre-ordered their new album... but I'm not sure if this song is on it.
This song will be on their new album as an iTunes exclusive track. Also, I think it is "chorus" and "divide," rather than "course" and "divine"
