Fall Again" is a song written, composed, and produced by Walter Afanasieff and Robin Thicke primarily for Michael Jackson in 1999.[1] The song was performed by many artists Fall Again" was written for Michael Jackson and Jackson recorded a demo of the song in 1999 for his album Invincible, but the song was never finished, and therefore did not make the final cut. As the original writer of the song Walter Afanasieff confirmed in January 2000, "We worked to the point that we were three-fourths of the way finished, then the incident happened when his son (Prince) got very sick. We’re going to have to reserve a little spot to finish the song."[6] Robin Thicke was credited as a co-writer and contributed background vocals for this demo. The demo was released on November 16, 2004 as an album track of his limited edition box set The Ultimate Collection.[7]

Glenn Lewis recorded the song for the soundtrack of the film Maid in Manhattan, which was released on December 10, 2002.[8] This version also featured on a 2003 Universal Music compilation album titled Smooth Jazz Cafe 5

Sagi Rei, an Israel born Italian artist covered this song in his third album SAGI Sings Michael Jackson in 2010.[10]

I think it's about a couple that has been facing obstacles that challenge their devotion and endurance and quite frankly they both feel overwhelmed by the situation. It seems that they have been spending some time apart. Yet, the protagonist never gave up his faith on his partner and on all the things that experienced and overcame together. But I can't help to feel torn a little, every time he sings ''i want to fall with you again''. There is no suggestion that he has found peace within himself after all the difficulties they have faced or that all those hardships made them stronger and he looks forward to a new future; a future that carries those troubled moments but is expected to be brighter. He just looks back. I can, however, understand him. He feels exhausted and tired. But why not... try? Even if they had before and didn't work. Whenever I listen to those lines,I get a lump in my throat. About Michael, what can I say? his vocal deliveries are always excellent; even in the case of a demo. His sincerity in his voice is without exception unmistakable.
