Don't Leave Me Now Lyrics
Don't leave me now
I must confess
Haven't been the worst
Haven't been the best
Since you came
Don't take me now
I must confess
Found the word digress
And made it a home
Don't leave me now
I must confess
Haven't been the worst
Haven't been the best
Since you came
It's all the same
It's all the same
Don't take me now
I must confess
Found the wor(d digress
And made it a home
It's all the same
It's all the same
Don't come try to find me now
I must confess
Holes in the plot rearrange themselves
with all the rest
Holes in the story
Holes in myself x 3
I must confess
Haven't been the worst
Haven't been the best
Since you came
I must confess
Found the word digress
And made it a home
I must confess
Haven't been the worst
Haven't been the best
Since you came
It's all the same
I must confess
Found the wor(d digress
And made it a home
It's all the same
I must confess
Holes in the plot rearrange themselves
with all the rest
Holes in myself x 3

Love this and wish I could told something like that to my lover at the end. Though I doubt. I've always thought it was a break up / heartbroken song. English isn't my mother tongue and while posting the lyrics (btw, a verse's missing, if someone knows...), I read a review where the reporter was talking about a death song. Does it make sense to any of you ? Obviously, there're some verses that cold be understood this way. I'm more for the heartbroken version but I like the idea of the song being ambigous.

@ Wood : Thanks ! @ Germone : Still "haven't been the worse" makes sense in a break up song. At least to me ! ;-)

To me this makes more sense as a song about death, cause i thought the "haven't been the worst" wouldn't make sense if they were breaking up. but now it makes sense and it sounds like he is rethinking his behaviour and how careless he was not appreciating the time they had together so he wants the person not to die so he has a second chance. now this song makes me cry.
