I looooooove this song. I THINK this song's about him being in a relationship, but at the same time liking/wanting someone else. Hence the part "when they set me free just put your hands on me" and "our love's the perfect crime" ;)

Well, this song seems like something i can relate to with my boyfriend.he lives an hour a way"Tonight you can imagine That I'm by your side 'Cause it's never gonna be the truth So far for you" and i see him like one day a week or so.I'm constantly thinking "Ryan,please don't forget me" (Hear me say Don't throw me away) because i feel out of sight out of mind sometimes. And we just want to be together all the time but we can't so we're constantly thinkin wouldn't it be nice just to touch and have physiclal contact (mostly not in a sexual way). So i think it's somewhat about missing somebody and hoping they think of you and how much you just wish to be with them because you love that person and will do anything for them.

To me this song is about having feelings for somebody else while you are in a relationship with someone else. Life is really complicated and people that are meant to be together sometimes arent together for certain periods of times. It reminds me of my ex because we both know we belong together but its like we just dont act on those feelings. We are away from eachother, he lives there and im stuck here. But when we are together and around eachother we always end up hugging for long periods of time or just doing something. This song is totally our song and it describes us completely. We are both in relationships but we still long for eachother. So when he sais when they set me free just put your hands on me it is saying when they are not around just put your hands on me. I always thought this song was kind of a cheaters song but that really isnt correct. It is just about two people forever longing for eachother and they cant always control it no matter how hard they try. I love you CW always will and I wanna touch you right now after listening to this song. ahhhh!!! lol dammit

Amazing song! Very, very catchy and definitely one of my favourite on the album. I think it's about his post-breakup thinking, wishing his ex doesn't throw him away, still wanting her back.
