Go ahead as you waste your days with thinking
When you fall, everyone stands
Another day, and you've had your fill of sinking
With the life held in your
Hands are shaking cold
These hands are meant to hold

Speak to me
When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
Move along
Move along

So a day when you've lost yourself completely
Could be a night when your life ends
Such a heart that will lead you to deceiving
All the pain held in your
Hands are shaking cold
Your hands are mine to hold

Speak to me
When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
Move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)

When everything is wrong, we move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
When everything is wrong, we move along
Along, along, along

When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do (Know you do)
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through

(Move along)
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
Right back what is wrong
We move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
Right back what is wrong
We move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
Right back what is wrong
We move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
Right back what is wrong
We move along

This song really helped me a lot with my current situation. My boyfriend and I broke up a week ago because he had some personal problems that he needed to deal with and I understood. I soon found out a little more about him and how he took advantage of me towards the end of our relationship(we dated for 9 months) and how he lied to me, flirted with other girls, etc, and it really hurt me. He really screwed me up mentally and I have a really hard time trusting other guys now and I will never forget what he did to me. Although I was (and still am) so hurt, I've been trying to just get passed him and keep my head up. This song helped me understand that life keeps going no matter what happens in my life and that things will get better.

"Go ahead as you waste your days with thinking, when you fall, everyone stands" A friend has tried to help this person, but he seems to just be drifting into thoughts. "Another day and you've had your fill of sinking" The person just keeps thinking negatively and doesn't know what to do, but his friend wants the person to tell him his problems. "Hands are shaking cold, these hands are meant to hold (Speak to me)" His friend tells him to "move along like I know you do" because he knows that his friend is strong. "Move along just to make it through", he says because life is tough, but you have to keep moving and be positive. "So a day when you've lost yourself completely, could be a night when your life ends." Then there's another dilemma where the person feels as if he has lost himself completely meaning he feels like nothing matters and is on the verge of suicide. "Such a heart that will lead you to deceiving" The person is keeping all the problems to himself where he's telling lies that he's okay, but his friend takes notice, "hands are shaking cold", and let's him know that he's here to help, "your hands are mine to hold, speak to me". His friend tells him again that he's a strong person, "move along like I know you do", and that you just have to move on with life, "move along just to make it through." At the end where it says, "right back what is wrong, we move along" is to say that just to settle the problem, or to let go of the negativity/past and go on with life.

That's my take on it. A great song indeed.

I never used to like AAR that much, they just seemed ok to me. Then I heard this song.

Long story short, I'm buying the album tomorrow.

this song helped me when i was going through shit at school and home. i myself, kinda picture god singing this song. haha ya my god is a dude in skinny jeans and shaggy brown hair. but anyway, i prayed to god to help me and i was feeling really down and when i heard this song, idk my spirits were lifted and i didnt feel so slone any more. that part where he says SPEAK TO ME it feels like gods saying you can talk to me. i know this song is a suicide prevention song but thats just the way i feel about it

This is seriously my all-time favorite song. It has so much hope for a song in its genre. It touches on a sensitive subject like suicide without being sappy. Everything about this song is realistically raw and I LOVE it. There is not one crappy mood that has not been cured by listening to this song. Love it <3

o for the meaning, i think its pretty straightforward. "and even when your hope is gone, move along" that line pretty sums it up.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
