This is a very short, simple poem, but it's so saddening... to me, at least. A very true ode to unrequited love. The speaker knows that the object of her affection doesn't feel the same way towards her, and that he will only see her as she sees him in her dreams.
EA's recording of this, along with the pretty harpsichord music, only makes it more sorrowful.
