I agree with 8fortherecord8, the song is about being on the road and having to leave his girl behind.

^This seems to me to be the girl talking. She's lonely because he's on the road so much, and she just wants to be with him.
The chorus sounds like a reassurance. "And I DO want to show you..." He is promising her that she really does mean the world to him. "I promise I love you and would do anything for you - cross my heart!"
I just recently started listening to Mariana's Trench and their songs have great lyrics...can't get enough of this song
I'm not so sure. I think that someone's dumped someone, probably she's dumped him, and now he's reminiscing about how things were. So he now misses her and wants her back.
And, unfortunately 'pop punk' bands sometimes do have songs that edge more towards pop and therefore are more catchy, making it more likely to send them mainstream. However, fortunately as they're Canadian, this song's not likely to piss ME off by sending every 12 year old girl into 'OMG I LOVE THE LEAD SINGER' mode over here in England :P

I agree. while Josh is my favourite, i agree the whole band is really cool and down to earth. They message their fans on myspace, and sign autographs after almost every show. They are amazing.

Ohman, the lead singer josh sure puts me into a ' omg i love the lead singer ' but that's alright , i've felt this way since they first came out. they are honestly so amazing, and so is this song.

i love this band! i saw them live in june and they are simply amazing! i love how they can actually sing, with 4 part harmonies and stuff.
this song is so catchy. its about an on again, off again relationship, and the guy wants to get back together.
