Far From Home Lyrics
You said i`m always saying sorry for the same old things
I`m sorry for the drugs and how much i drank
You said i say it so much it doesn`t mean anything
I`m sorry, my love, but i had to leave
I hope most of you will never know what it`s like to let a love go
Leaving everything at home, everything you`ve ever known
I can`t fix this from a phone
I`m sorry you feel so alone
It`s like i told you, "you`re better off without me, i`m sick of saying sorry."
So far from home
You keep calling and complaining that i just don`t care
Would you say that if i was there?
It`s that picture you keep hanging that`s causing your tears
I could set you straight if you were here
I hope most of you will never know what it`s like to let a love go
Leaving everything at home, everything you`ve ever known
I can`t fix this from a phone
I`m sorry you feel so alone
It`s like i told you, "you`re better off without me, i`m sick of saying sorry."
I don`t want to string you along
And that`s why i`m letting you go
It`s like i told you, "you`re better off without me, i`m sick of saying sorry."
So far from home
And you don`t know how many times i talked to you
And i can`t count how many foughts of you i fought with you
I don`t want to string you along
That`s why i`m letting you go
It`s like i told you, "you`re better off without me, i`m sick of saying sorry."

i absolutely love this song. basically its about someone that constantly makes mistakes & continues to apologize. they know they're doing something wrong (ex: drugs.) those everyday fights exist.. it's especially tough because they're too far away.
i can completely relate. they love each other but they had to let go. :/
Cody the drummer for the band said this is their fav song lyricaly out of the album because it's so real. The first part of the song
You said i
m always saying sorry for the same old things Im sorry for the drugs and how much i drank You said i say it so much it doesn`t mean anything ^^ Cody said in an interview that, that part was a real conversation a band member was having with his girlfriend over the phone while writing the albumTo me this song is obviously written by one of the guys in the band about being on the road and having a girlfriend back home. He really cares about her but he knows she would be better off if they just ended it because it's not gonna work with him so far away. Being so far away and the line "I can't fix this from a phone" is saying there's nothing he can do over the phone to make the relationship work and his endless sorry s won't help either.
I don't know why nobody has really commented on this song yet. It was the first time i listened through the whole CD that it instantly became one of my favorite songs. I just got the CD today, and i'm trying to find a good descrition for how i feel about the song.
first off, hinder is amazing and i love this song. i think it means that he is gone for some reason and they still love each other but being far away from each other makes them fight more. And if he was still there then maybe they would get along better. Hes sick of fighting and saying sorry, and hes letting her go because "shes better off without him"
hmmm maybe? idk
i think that this is simply one person in a relationship has a flaw that absolutely ruins a big part of their relationship. that person thinks the other is better off, and even though they love each other, they have to end it.
One of my favorites by Hinder!
