Good Days Bad Days Lyrics
I want to unmake every bed that I laid down on
Give back everything I've won
I want to unfly every crow
Unwind every mile
Undo everything I've done
Good days there'll be bad days
Good days there'll be bad days
I want to unread every book that my eyes laid on
Unsay everything I've said
I want to unsing every song
Unwrite every line
Unstep every step I've made
Good days there'll be bad days
Good days there'll be bad days
I want to unsew every seam
Unwind every clock
Unbreathe every breath I've made
I want to unset every sun
That my eyes fell on
'Til I give back all I've won
Good days there'll be bad days
Give back everything I've won
I want to unfly every crow
Unwind every mile
Undo everything I've done
Good days there'll be bad days
Unsay everything I've said
I want to unsing every song
Unwrite every line
Unstep every step I've made
Good days there'll be bad days
Unwind every clock
Unbreathe every breath I've made
I want to unset every sun
That my eyes fell on
'Til I give back all I've won

True Lyrics...
Follow the underdog Hold on his collar tight This city loves a scrap One day it's gonna fight
Sticks and stones and animal bones Can't stop me from having a good day On a bad day There's good days and bad days
Making a night of it Breaking the barriers Drowning the sorrows Upset the regulars
Sticks and stones and animal bones Can't stop me from getting away with Good days and bad days There's good days and bad days
Sticks and stones and animal bones Sticks and stones and animal bones There's good days and bad days There's good days and bad days
If you had a different attitude Instead of taking taking to You have missed an opportunity And that's a really big mistake If you had a different attitude You'd still have good days and bad days
I really like this song. It's about routing for the underdog. I think it's also saying it doesn't matter who you are, you're still going to have good days and bad days. Wealth, status, and success can't change that.
i don't think these are the correct lyrics... :(
or @ least it doesn't sound like they are singing this in the song.
I really like this song though. Very catchy. It reminds me of another song I've heard...but I can't put my finger on it.
these are not the lyrics by kaiser chiefs. the above lyrics are from the artist Richard Butler.
In interviews the band said they were inspired to write the song after seeing their football team Leeds United lose the Football League One Play Off to Doncaster Rovers.
Thats from Wikipedia anyway.
babigurl492 has the correct lyrics.
The song is about a miserable hater, who only feels good when he's hurting others, which is why he has his good days on bad days.
He picks on the weak, grabbing an "underdog" by "the collar" and beating him up.
Unlike those who use words, to negotiate confrontations, he uses "sticks and stones and animal bones," enjoys the pain he inflicts on others, and has a good day on their bad days.
He goes out looking for a ruck, upsetting people out for a pleasurable drink, with his aggressive provocations: "Making a night of it Breaking the barriers Drowning the sorrows Upset the regulars."
And in the last verse, the judge sends him to prison: "You have missed an opportunity And that's a really big mistake, If you had a different attitude You'd still have good days and bad days." Now he'll only have bad days in prison, 'cos he just couldn't behave himself, and be a decent person while he was free.
