Great song. I believe that Mr. Hall wants to be "One on One" with the girl that he loves. He wants all the small petty stuff cut out of the relationship.
by far one of their smoothest jams. The sax solo is bad! I think he's basically saying that he wants time out from the redundant groups of men and women that they mingle with. He just wants to play a little one on one if ya know what I mean ;)
