i love this song!. its truly genius. favorite song off the new album. and its just really cute and its like a love song about there's too much to say but you deserve a love song/.

ok... this song is so awesome. i think it's about two people, currently or formerly in a relationship, and the guy has done something to hurt her. when sisely sings "remember the days of sleepless summer nights that took us away? a perfect place a different time. back when nothing was wrong." so things used to be perfect but now they're not. but it sounds like he knows he screwed up and he's not happy about it. he wants to make it up so he's going to write her a love song to make up for it. "i owe you a love song. so much i could say. i owe you a love song, words that i can't say." he seems to want to make it up to her more than he can put into words so he is going to try to put it into music. theres also the line that says "these broken days won't last forever. you know i'll put us back together." he knows it's his fault and he is going to be the one to fix it. and he hopes the song will do it and break down a barrier (we climb we crawl tear down the wall) and he's going to try his hardest. hence the we crawl part. he'll do anything to make it better. thats how i see it. totally amazing song.

omg ok i'm not really into love songs but this song is one song that makes me feel like i'm in real love =] jaja its awesome.... i used to listen to this song when i askd this girl out...i had know her for a long time and i din't know she got a boyfriend and idk why i din't aks her earlier so nothing of that would have happened... so that day was soo fxcking bad and i found this song..... jaja no she doesn't have one jaja so its my turn.... =] well just sharing how i found this song =] jaja please don't hate me for that... =[

Okay, obviously two people are in love. They fell in love during the summer- it was summer love. Now that summer is over, they've got to go back to where they came from. They either met on a vacation and need to go home or either they've got to go back to school or something. But summer was when they fell in love, a world was created around them. But it was time to go.

She can't stop thinking about summer and the beautiful things that happened. She's waiting under a dull weather for love to take her away again. She's feeling alone and starting to realize she might be waiting for something that doesn't exist- she's doubting.

He, on the other hand, knows he owes her. He knows he has to go to her and rescue her from her loneliness. He knows he has to be the hero. He believes he can reach her once he tells her that it's okay and nothing's changed and to not doubt because their world still exists.

He'll tell her he loves her to save her and that's "i owe a love song".

For me, it's the opposite. I only got to see my lover during school and we're forbidden to see each other during. But the rest of the song tells my story. And yes, I'm waiting to go back to "our world".
