I think they're saying the band is like vampires. No matter how hard you try to get rid of them, they'll never die.

I'm just gonna go out on the limb, and say that this really isn't about vampires. Maybe he was trying to mix it up by looking through a different point of view?
Anyways, this is what I think:

Maybe this means he's searching for happpiness? Or something that will make him satisfied.
"I'm not homesick, I'm just so sick of going home"
Maybe when he goes home, there's nothing. He just feels empty.
"I'd kill for the sun to never rise again"
Maybe he found his happiness, and never wants it to go away.
And for the rest, I have no clue. I'm just looking at these lyrics more optimisticly, so dont hate..
I'm pritty sure it says after "the sun goes down, we come out" "a diffrent bird in a diffrent city" i could be wrong but im pritty sure its that Amasing Song from an Amasing Album!!!!!! BMtH!!!!

yeah i really can't figure out this song. im almost positive he's not actually singing about vampires. i think there's some meaning behind this. just... cant figure it out. someone help! =P
Im not sure that the line is a different bird in a different city, the fucking album doesn't come out until november so if someone has the lyrics from the album booklet, post them because i think its "a different party in a different city", which would kind of make more sense because the song seems to be somewhat about partying... i could be wrong, someone find out.

this song's probably just about partying getting out of hand. going out every night, not coming home etc. basically like, sleeping through the day, then going out to party when night falls.
this could also be about them on tour, partying and stuff? when he says, a different party in a differnet city...
