reminds me of myself. I was in a situation where all my friends were finding the right person for them and it felt like i was being left behind. Everybody around me was happy and moving on and i couldn't find anyone... but now i have her... and im not letting her go.

Gotta say that I didn't like this one at all when it first came out, although this may have been because I thought the song was stating the bleeding obvious point that all my friends had partners/spouses and I didn't... THEN I stopped turning off the radio whenever I heard the intro and actually LISTENED to the lyrics and decided "No, it's not poking fun at me, It's actually encouraging me!" So now the dial is cranked whenever the song comes on.

I think the meaning of the song is obvious. The lyrics speak for themselves. He wants to believe that there is someone special out there for everyone. Including him. And just like most of us, were just waiting to find that perfect someone.
I'm not a huge NB fan, but this song hit me like a train. INCREDIBLE tune (especially the voices in the beginning) and the meaning is even better.
i just heard this song and it is amazing. because you can tell that he is searching for someone to love, and he wants that person to come with him to the end of the world
The meaning of the lyrics are completely self-explanatory. The lyrics, the melody... absolutely awesome! One of Nickelbacks best!! Inspires one to believe you are not doomed to a lifetime of loneliness after all. Gives one hope that you WILL finally have that Special Someone walk into your life! Maybe... someday... perhaps??
Honestly, I really can't say I love Nickelback, but this song makes me cry so hard! My boyfriend just broke up with me recently and I was left stranded. He told me that he wants to be friends but he won't even speak to me anymore. I'm so scared I'm never going to find the right person for me because he was the one who seemed so right. But this song gives me hope that one day... there'll be somebody.

Nickelback comes through again with an extremely catchy pop-rock song for the first single from the new CD, now entitled "Dark Horse". I have a couple slight modifications to the lyrics, however:
5th line of the chorus I believe it is: 'Cause nobody wants to go it on their own
2nd line of the 2nd verse: And damn it, this feels too right, it's just like deja vu.
2nd line of the bridge (or 3rd verse): 'Cause you could never know when it shows up make sure you're holding on.
Otherwise the lyrics are pretty much spot on from what I can tell. Another amazingly catchy song by a band that keeps putting out hit after hit.
