Im not sure what this song means logged on to find out but I just purchased their albumn online and this is my favourite on it! I love love love the butterfly effect best aussie rock group atm

I think this song is about someone getting tired of waiting for the other person to commit in a relationship.

"seven days in the desert of your heart count the ways every footstep to the start we got so close this time have you come to take me home?"

No matter how much they try they arent getting anywhere.

"i am always on the outside looking in you're taking me down so slow "

and one of them is about to give up on the other.

"break me you're breaking me so slow don't make me don't make me let you go"

I don't know who/what speaks more in this song: the singer, the drummer, bassist, or even guitarist! The entire ALBUM resonates with melodic passion. It's hard to tell where the real zeal bleeds from, but the lyrics are enough to feel the tension between the singer and his struggle with the love of his life. The ambient nature of the sound mixed with the words are/is enough to trap a listener into the "outside looking in" he's talking about...

           This is a band to look for in 2010.
