I think pretty much this song is saying that no matter how much you try to deny it, there's that one somebody that you can't deny. Like, it was meant to be. eh, I dunno, love this song.
i think this song is talking about how, no matter what, he will always have this girl in the back of his head. i love the first two lines.
I agree with picneec13. This song is about someone who stays in the back of your head no matter how much time passes. While it's not "meant to be", it's that person that just gets to you. You'll take it down to the grave because, most likely, this person was terrible for you and everyone you know would call you crazy if you explained what went on in your head.
