New Again (That Is Quite Enough) Lyrics
[???]
(all the better to)
All the better to hold you down
Slap my wrist with the sweet consequence
What are we, what are we to do
What are we to do with you
What are we, what are we to do
What are we to do with you
I am, I'm ready to be new again
I'm ready to hear you say who I am is quite enough
(Quite enough)
I am, I'm ready to be new again
I'm ready to hear you say who I am is quite enough
(Quite enough)
Monster with sharp teeth you have
(all the better to)
All the better to call you out
[???]
You don't know where you've been
Well you don't where I've been
What are we to do
What are we to, to do with you
I am, I'm ready to be new again
I'm ready to hear you say who I am is quite enough
(Quite enough)
I am, I'm ready to be new again
I'm ready to hear you say who I am is quite enough

This song is actually about me...
With my parents in the process of separating, I felt very neglected and became depressed. However my friends weren't too fond of the "new" me and they all deserted me. Now after I realize the way I acted was what separated me from my good friends, I'm ready to change for a second time(hence being new again) and prove to them that I can be the same happy and carefree person who they once enjoyed hanging out with.
From what I can hear on the live videos this song is very good, I can't wait for tbs' new album.
this might be referring in some manner to the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
"Monster with sharp teeth you have (all the better to) All the better to call you out"
This song's name has been changed, it's titled New Again, same name of the album...saw them in concert 1 week ago from today =P

My dear what deep roots you have All the better to hold you down We lived inside our branches your families nest's ask "Boy, where have you been?" No you don't know were I've been What are we, what are we to do What are we to do with you
jumping straight into this song i cant wait for this album
i think it's about adam and chauntelle this is blatantly gonna be his breakup record and it's set written during an arguement between the two and adam says he's ready to be 'new again' by that he means a divorce obviously
and the entire tree metaphor is about her family tree and how her parents don't really know adam very well
correction during the bridge to deathstare's lyrics...i think it says "well, my dear, what long arms you have," not "might do with long arms you have."
i love this song.
when i first heard this, i didn't like it but now, it's kinda grown on me (:
Song to me sounds like it's a drug that's taking over, and he/she is tired of what they are dependent on. "Who I am is quite enough" and wants to be new again..DUHHH! and they ditch there family "Boy, where have you been?"Well you don't know where I've been. and they dont no about it
