Carry The Weight Lyrics
Carry the weight of your brother
Carry the weight of your sister
I'm not afraid to say I don't know
Carry the weight of your father
Carry the weight of your mother
I'm not ashamed to say I don't know, anymore
Carry the weight of your neighbor
Carry the weight of a stranger
I'm not afraid to say I don't know what to do
And so I carry the weight
Carry the weight
Carry the weight
Carry the weight
Carry the weight of each other
Carry the weight of another
I'm not afraid to say I don't know
Carry the weight of your sister
I'm not afraid to say I don't know
Carry the weight of your mother
I'm not ashamed to say I don't know, anymore
Carry the weight of a stranger
I'm not afraid to say I don't know what to do
Carry the weight
Carry the weight
Carry the weight
Carry the weight of another
I'm not afraid to say I don't know

Now, these lyrics are so basic, than it can be taken many many ways, but here's my take:
About us carrying the weight of our friends and family and those in our community, without always asking "why did it happen?" or "what are the details." Ultimately it's about just quietly just doing what we can to take the weight of life and carry it all together.
I'm a supporter of community living though, so I'm a little biased.
