I think this song is about the stresses of life in the limelight and/or trying to make it big in the music industry. And how (if you let it) it can ruin your life. We've seen plenty of celebrities self-destructing and cracking under pressure :/
This song makes a spectrum out of the whole album 'Phoenix' because this song is about being trapped and your own worst enemy, whereas songs like 'Hell Yeah!' and 'Ignite' are about breaking out of yourself and being free - just like a phoenix.
