Amazing

I've seen people use this song a lot of times for couples, and at first it could seem like that, but when you listen more closely, it would seem like the singer is talking about a newborn child, especially at this part:

"I hope your tears are few and fast I hope your dreams come true at last I hope you find love that goes on and on and on and on and on I hope you wish on every star I hope you never fall too far I hope this world can see how wonderful you are"

Now, being as I'm not very smart when it comes to American culture or what's popular, I could be wrong, and she could be saying that she wishes that her love would find a love that last forever, even though implying it possibly not to be with her. Or, it could be that she's talking to a newborn child, and hoping that they have a good life, maybe better than the singer, if the singer did have a not-so-well life.

Without a doubt, this song is about a mother's love for her child, MY child. I've listened to this song countless times and I cry every single time thinking of my son who just went to college.

Hi, I'd like to give my insight on this beautifu inspiring song. The first two stanzas eapecially the 2nd one talks about the coming of the Messiah.

Now the pre-chorus is about the Savior talking to His people like a baby needing protection, comfort and guidance.

The chorus is about the receiver (We) how wonderful He is and what we feel for His Unconditional Love.

The stanza after chorus is describing about the Savior/Messiah again. The stanza after this one means that no matter what He will always be there for us we just have to accept Him as our Savior.

Then again the chorus is our response.

Lastly the Bridge: Is a message from the Divine Creator to His children..

Sometimes we over think and miss out the true meaning. Open your heart and let it be your eyes. May you be filled with warmth, inspiration and feel blessed everytime you hear this song.
