Undercover Lyrics
You've seen the stars
Here's your troubles ending
A million miles from here
Will they disappear
A galaxy of excuses far away
The frequencies of our little towers
A rusty sound reminding us to pray
Will you tell me if it really matters
So take your bags
But leave your things behind
Cause this is never over
Going undercover
Said you were another
Why don't you just let me down
When you're in your positions
I don't see inhibitions
The time has come to let your demons out
We broke down and we broke up running
Oh my God, our chance has passed away
It's boring down to the changes in our hearts
So take your bags
But leave your things behind
Cause this is never over
So tell me what were you really looking for
Going undercover
Said you were another
Why don't you just let me down
When you're in your positions
I don't see inhibitions
The time has come to let your demons out
Here's your troubles ending
A million miles from here
Will they disappear
A galaxy of excuses far away
The frequencies of our little towers
A rusty sound reminding us to pray
Will you tell me if it really matters
But leave your things behind
Cause this is never over

I figure he's speaking to God with that line. A lot of Christian bands use that line in similar context. Underoath comes to mind off the top of my head.
"Deas Vail, meaning “God” in Latin and “humble servant” in old French."
So why does it seem as though they're taking God's name in vain in the second verse? Perhaps I'm not reading deeply enough into the lyrics--I truly doubt they'd mean that in vain. But I can't see how it would be used otherwise in that context.
Any thoughts? Someone from the band maybe? :)
He's litterally crying out to God. He's not using it in vain. It's like in the akissforjersey song Salus Suas Extanderealas Concedit he says "hear my cry oh God". It's basically the same thing. And Underoath says oh my God many times.

These lyrics are pretty off.
