I'm only a seed in your hand
I'll never be big enough
But the smallest of parts in your plan
Is bigger than anything I know
So I give you all I am
And you poured out your heart over me
And you'd do it again
And again

So I sigh with my burden
And you play me songs of rapture
And you say I'm the lucky one
And I don't see everything I'm sure
So I give you all I am
And I wont be afraid of mistakes that I've made
'Cause I know you understand

And every time I come around to this place
I can see my self thinking
Of jumping the spaces
Between loving hearts
But I never make it
So I fall to the bottom
And reach up my hands
To the lord of forgiveness,
Of this mortal man
I'm the king of confessions
But I promise that's not in my plan
Not in my plan

Oh but I'm trying to go on
In breaking through walls that don't belong, yeah

Putting this back on the shelf
And turning away for good this time

This song is definitely about the grace and mercy of God. He's talking about surrendering everything to the Lord. And how God is always there for us and shows his love for us. I love the part when he says "So I fall to the bottom and reach up my hands to the Lord of forgiveness" because everytime we fall He is right there to pick us up. I love this song!

OMFG, I can't believe these guys are up!! are they still around? ok, basically, here's how i see it, this guy is guilty of something. adn the gf is okay with what he did, she forgives and continues to love him and show him that she still does, but unfortunately, he can't grow the love he once had for her. so he breaks up the relationship and leaves for good. last verse, their story is over.

Does anyone have the lyrics for the chorus in the background towards the end of the song?

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
