i think its about having a love, yet resentment, for someone who's left you. in the lyric, "Tell me all your secrets.I promise I'll be listening and if you ever come back home I'll be waiting patiently./Tell me nothing sacred. I pormise i won't hear a word and if you ever come back home, I won't act so patiently', to me, it's someone who's left without saying why, and so in the line tell me all your secrets which leads to ill be waiting patiently, it means if its valid, and youre honest with me about why you left, then ill have forgiveness. and then he says, tell me nothing sacred, as in nothing from the heart, which leads to "and i wont act so patiently", which means i cant forgive someone who's hurt me so badly and cant even give an explanantion as to why. i think its about letting someone become so close to you that youve become too vunerable, and paid the price after theyve left, "i cant recall the last day of sun", as in im lost in the dark without you. it's about the troubles of getting over someone and knowing how badly youre hurt by them, but willing to be in such a tied up state just to see them...to me :) fkn love norma jean. saw them live two nights ago.

seems like it's about an ex-girlfriend that he wants to be with but doesn't want to be with at the same time.Like "don't stay away but don't stay here" and how the chorus kind of says the same thing but opposites of each other.So,it seems like he doesn't want to be with her but does at the same time.Then he realizes he can't be with her and screams "she's not coming back" at the end.That's what I got out of it at least.This song is one of my favorites from the antimother.the vocals just sound so cool in it
This album of theirs has heavy Deftones influence and can be heard easily in this song. Amazing album though.
