Gucci Mane
Alligators

Weighin it with the balance
Smokin on the Cali
The way a nigga valet, you think i'm doin ballet
Live my life ruthless, feelin real coupe-ish
Yellow feet, yellow Vette, and that bitch roofless
Suede guts in the Benz same color Scooby
Bracelet like 'I'm him' Jacob sayin 'Who he?'
Ring sayin 'What's up' Chain sayin 'Oohwee'
Grill say 'Drugged up' Tats say 'So street'
Underwear Burberry, Favorite fragrance Wall Street
Type of girl? Real thick, favorite color money green
Candlelight dinner gave her Cristal & x-pill
Wake up in the morning give her crab legs and oatmeal
Lobster tail and cheese grits, you ain't never seen this
Money tall like skyscrapers and i really mean this
Lobster tail and cheese grits, you aint' never seen this
Money tall like skyscrapers and i really mean this

Chorus:
Long paper, tall paper
Stick to skrill like flypaper
Car look just like now and later
Shoes right there are alligators

Goin to my old school from bumper to bumper fool
Chunk a hundred stacks now we got more than ?!?!? school
Just like my diamonds my car is so colorful
Rims pimped out, what the fuck I need Xzibit for?
I change lanes and i change hues from lime green to dark blue
Had it paint chameleon so they swang and they change too
Shine harder, grind harder, air ones look like tapwater, chrome rims look like silver quarters, got a see through top like bathwater
Dark green donks and the rims look like pickle juice
Twentysix inches sittin on the ??
Sittin in the hottub with the shawty off the Bentley Coupe
Paint look like bloodred and the guts look like tomato soup

Chorus:

Big ol' chain, and a big ol' Range
My '74 Olds got a big ol brain
Yellow vette same color as the Dom champagne
2007 centerfielder Gucci Mane
Damn Gucci Mane your car so clean, got 5 girlfriends like a b-ball team
Got a gasoline catalina listerine, got a clearcoat Chevy call that bitch chlorine
Wall street cologne cost $3000 bucks, on my first date went and got my dick sucked
Goddamn Gucci Mane you too damn much, lockin down the brake and i'm holdin the clutch

I like listening to this song. This reminds me of, Obama's critics are a growing number, especially because we haven't heard hide or hair of a job creation plan since he took office. A job creation plan was something that our sitting President pledged during his campaign, and thus far, he has created no jobs to speak of, except for the cronies of the vicious cabal of Wall Street goons he put in his cabinet. There was talk of 3.5 million jobs, none of which have materialized — other presidents knew what a Public Works project was, and apparently Obama, who went to Harvard no less, apparently didn't get that memo. There still isn't a concrete <a href="personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/10/13/obamas-job-creation-debt-relief-plan-criticism/"><strong>job creation plan</strong></a>, and a lot of people still need debt relief.

Wusup. I jus wanted 2 let you know that you messed those lyrics all up for Alligators by Gucci Mane. Here's a few corrections: "Brown rims and the benz same color as scooby" "grill say drug dealer, tat say so street". "stick to the script like flypaper" "car look just like now and laters, and shoes courtesy of the alligators". "Dropped 100 stacks my whip cost more than Big Kat hummer fool". "Davin's painted chameleon so the swang and they change too". "2007 Sun Valley Gucci Mane". "I still remember the first day when I got my dick sucked". Just to name a few

Trust me I know what this song is about, Ive been a devout follower of Gucci Mane for years now If you study zoroastranarianism youd realize that since the awakening of the Jungian Meditative forces in our solar system and the coming of the Haka Abu Dari Rishi that the our mother spirit of gravitation on earth has been at 44degrees elliptical to the planet Neptune and accordingly Venus. That is to say it is the dawn of the age of the Children of Rah and the coming of a new age of transcendental ascendindence of the four guiding prophecies in the realm of Love Temperment and Philosophy are coming to the forfront not only in your life but in all life on earth as it is was and is to be. In this song Gucci Mane addresses the 8 bodily realms through tantric emmenence as well as the 12th and 16th noble doctrines of the Hedra and the Minerva moving through our galaxy through lightwaves as well as the binding spirits that link us not only to the each other but also to the earth wind water and fire and Alligators allows Gucci mane to step outside his preoccupant self to channel a deep connection with his audience and bring upon balance to the............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
