Profanity Prayers Lyrics
In a cast iron cage
You couldn't help but stare like a creature
With the laws of a brothel
And the fireproof bones of a teacher
And your lingo coined
From the sacrament of a casino
On a government loan
With a guillotine in your libido
Who's gonna answer profanity prayers?
Who's gonna answer profanity prayers?
Well you know how it looks
When you pull all your books from the table
And you stare into space
Trying to discern what to say now
And you wait at the light
And watch for a sign that you're breathing
'Cause you can't just live on air
And float to the ceiling
Who's gonna answer profanity prayers?

its preacher, not teacher
quite nice song
Except the refrain, it really reminds me of Neil Young`s Mr. Soul.
i dont know if anyone else hears it but this song reminds me of bodysnatchers from radiohead.
How is this album so ill?
i love the little sound at the end of this song. :D
I gather, life is what you make of it. No matter what you make of it. It also makes me think that having faith is okay, just not blind faith because in the end you are the master of your own destiny.
Whether it be dirty or clean no one is going to answer your prayers so suck it up and make the best of it.
It indeed does remind me of Buffalo Springfields' '''Mr. Soul'' but the intro reminds of something else. Which is the Beatles' ''Back in the U.S.S.R.'' It's sort of a landing plane or something, and then the rhythm and drum beat. Very much alike.
