Special Place

I think this is about a guy who's girlfriend just broke up with him. He's turing back to his special place, so that hopefully he'll feel some happiness after the emotional damage that the breakup caused him. Thinking about all the things he shared with this girl, but now he just doesn't care.

I forgot to add that "bring it up, bring it up, don't take me down" might suggest that he's doing drugs in his special place.

i think its that special place in your mind, whether induced by drugs or whatever made it special. That special mood, state.

Bring it up, dont take me down means keep the mood positive.

I strongly believe that this song was written for by Duvdev.... I think so because when i saw infected in salt lake I spoke with him and Erez backstage - - Duvdev said he doesnt take drugs anymore but he still drinks - - The reason I say that is because I think the line "giving up on the things we shared" is saying he has given up on using drugs/trips ; which is the thing he shared with his fans/group members..... Also "Bring it up, dont take me down" is the simple concept of every drug having a comedown (sometimes BAD)........ and maybe this is why Duvdev doesnt use anymore - - - - I believe him "Turning back to his special place" could be either one of two things - a level of intoxication he gets from drinking - or a peace he gains from complete sobriety.... This is how I interpret the song!!!
