I got this shit on lock
I got this shit on lock
Holla' Holla' at me if you on my block
I got this shit on lock
I got this shit on lock
Holla' Holla' at me if you on my block

I got yo' dogs on a collar, balla
So how you like that?
Chokechain for their necks, and I don't think they bite back
Woof woof, How they howl
Give some chow, they bout to growl
Little dogs will kill you dude, as soon as you let 'em out

Purebread (Purebread)
Got 'em with the nice coat
Your head (Your head)
When I stick em' at the right throat
big teeth (big teeth)
Shock collars on their necks
You fuck with 3OH!3, and motherfuckas know they next

Now get yo' drum on (c'mon and getcha drum on)
Getcha getcha drum on (c'mon and getcha drum on)

I got a chokechain for my pitpull mayne
I got a shock collar for my rotweiler
Got a - chockchain for my pitbull mayne
I got a shock collar for my rotweiler
Got a - Chokechain (ch-ch-chokechain)
I got a shock collar ( sh-sh-shock collar)
I got a choke chain (ch-ch-chokechain)
I got a shock collar (sh-sh-shock collar)

I got my woof from a white tee, He won't bite me
Fuckin with me, and you'll get bitten most likely
Howlin' at the moon, growling at the lightning
ugh, this fling i spin is mad frightening (??)
We got the drum hits, tell your kid to get a better etiquitte
Before he splits his seed to try to spin a bit of rhetoric
You gotta sa-say, g-g-go put it away
Yeah we be runnin' the game, now it's all one in the same

Now get yo' drum on (c'mon and getcha drum on)
Getcha getcha drum on (c'mon and getcha drum on)

I got this shit on lock
I got this shit on lock
Holla' Holla' at me if you on my block
I got this shit on lock
I got this shit on lock
Holla' Holla' at me if you on my block

God I LOVE this band! It's like, a crazy mix of angry rap, rave and emo. PLUS it's two skinny white guys! God it's just so good!

edits: "when i sick 'em at the right throat" is what that sounded like to me.. but who knows. "..spin a bit of rhetoric" since it rhymes with etiquette and theyre going with fancy words there.

i love this band. but they're really hard to understand sometimes... so i still could be wrong :/

first edit: "when i stick 'em in the right throat".

allison06 was right with the second one, "We got the drum hits, tell your kid to get a better etiquitte; Before he splits his seed to try to spin a bit of rhetoric."

    love 3OH!3.

I'm almost positive he IS saying "getcha drum on", although what applescomma said seems to make more sense, aha!

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
