True as the Night Lyrics
Down in there left by the side of the railway
Day goes by into the night, I was thinking
And my love is true
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night, oh
Hear the sound over the trees, there's a river
I don't know where to begin or to end it
And my love is true
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night, oh
I stand alone inside me
The things you've told didn't harm me
Yeah, we all move on
Yeah, we all move slow
I stand alone inside me
The things you've told didn't harm me
Yeah, we all move on
Yeah, we all move slow
Day goes by into the night, I was thinking
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night, oh
I don't know where to begin or to end it
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night, oh
The things you've told didn't harm me
Yeah, we all move on
Yeah, we all move slow
The things you've told didn't harm me
Yeah, we all move on
Yeah, we all move slow

The first half of this song seems to have a bit of a Smiths influence - I'm not sure if Craig is a fan, but maybe it's a subconscious influence. I like the false ending just like in the song "Winning Days."
They released a statement from Nicholls that this si actually a sequal to the song Vision Valley. Since that song is about daydreaming, I wonder if this is the daydream. Trippy, huh?
