Midlife Crisis (Faith No More cover) Lyrics

Go on and wring my neck
Like when a rag gets wet
A little discipline
For my pet genius
My head is like lettuce
Go on dig your thumbs in
I cannot stop giving
I'm thirty-something

Sense of security
Like pockets jingling
Midlife crisis
Suck ingenuity
Down through the family tree

You're perfect yes, it's true
But without me you're only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain't bleedin' enough for two

It's a midlife crisis
It's a midlife crisis...

What an inheritance
The salt and the kleenex
Morbid self attention
Bending my pinky back
A little discipline
A donor by habit
A little discipline
Rent an opinion

Sense of security
Holding blunt instrument
Midlife crisis
I'm a perfectionist
And perfect is a skinned knee

You're perfect yes it's true
But without me you're only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain't bleedin' enough for two

It's a midlife...
Crisis
It's a midlife...
Crisis

You're perfect yes it's true
But without me you're only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain't bleedin' enough for two

You're perfect yes it's true
But without me you're only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain't bleedin' enough for two

Go on and ring my neck
Go on and ring my neck

I'm surprised no one's commented on this. It's not a bad cover, but the original by Faith No More is a lot better. I never knew what the original was about, and I still don't, though.

I love disturbed, but they do way to many covers. Every time I think I've heard of all the covers they've done, I find about another one.

Does anyone else think that they covered it because Draiman was getting weird about his age (he's 37, last time I checked.)

I like disturbed, and I like that they are fans of some of the older shit I listed to, but enough is enough. STOP DOING COVERS ALREADY! lol

It's a remake I heard this song on a game called Vice City based on the 80s it's definitely just a remake, thank god, I sort of thought this song was lame :/ 'till I remembered i'd heard this somewhere. I thought where for like an hour.

This song is an absolute joke. it sounds almost exactly the same as the faith no more version, except stale and boring and without any of the brilliance of the original. And David Draimans Mike Patton impression is horrible to listen to. Fuck you disturbed
