Well look out sunshine, here they go
They got yesterday's heroes and last night's clothes
You're a game, oh boy, judging by the way you walk
But there's no use telling me to leave
I've seen a half of dozen goals but I don't believe
I'm a cynical 'con and I'm much to lazy to change

And I tell my friends I'll be around
Care in no where, sleeping somewhere
With a girl I dreamed, oh yeah
I'll sing my old song
How does it go?
Look out sunshine
It's the punch line
No one cares you anymore

Well look out sunshine, here they come
But they only play for money
Your band on the run
It's a sell out show
That no one wants to go to, yeah

But there's no so blindness but they don't agree
Steal the money from your papas
So most vicious leave
Oh boy, we are much to crazy to change

And I tell my friends I'll be around
Care in no where, sleeping somewhere
Where oh can our dream go... yeah
I'll sing my old song
How does it go?
Look out sunshine
It's the punch line
No one cares you anymore

But what do you mean?
You where born to love this scene
And they'll string you up gladly
You're just to lazy to be

Tell my friends... I'll be around...

I tell my friends I'll be around
Care in no where, sleeping somewhere
With a girl I dreamed, oh yeah
I'll sing my old song
How does it go?
Look out sunshine
It's the punch line
No one cares you anymore

No one needs you anymore...
No one cares you anymore...

Yeah, I think it sounds very Beatles-esque.

I think this song is funny because it sounds very upbeat, but when you read the lyrics they seem somewhat hostile or condescending. I can't figure out if he's talking to a person or to himself, but I can imagine him talking to a [now] ex girlfriend "No one gets you anymore," or possibly a fellow band member (since he calls him/her "old boy") who he's pissed at for "telling me to leave." The 'Sunshine' part just comes across as really sarcastic.

If he's talking to himself, it sounds like he's angry at himself for working for the music biz- "steal money from your pockets"- or he's disappointed that he has a "sell-out show," and no one else understands his frustration...

    Any other ideas?
