This is the BEST Weezer (post-pinkerton) written. This, along with Angel and the One, are just as brilliant and epic as the best tracks from Pinkerton.

Anyway, this song. Is really fucking awesome. Speculation is that this is about Rivers' old assistant, who was aptly named Sheeny.

I never got into Maladroit.. but i loved make belive.. dunno.. Weezer is one of my faves of all time tho..
guy digochi, I think you might be on to something there. Suzanne is actually the first song that comes to mind when I hear this song. This is a new classic for Weezer. Very funny, but its got that Pinkerton emotion.

Hey ousan i think i was on to somthing... this is what i just read in the Suzanne songmeanings page..
quoted from the booklet in the new Blue Album Deluxe Edition by Weezer : "suzane was a talented A&R assistnat at Geffen. in the long months of limbo between completeing the blue album in october '93 and its eventual release in may '94 she became a big weezer supporter, doing her best to keep the guys optimistic about their future with geffen. as the lyrics impy, suzanne did in fact help rivers out with her spare winter coat when he needed one, and made plates of brownies to c heer him up. her dovotion and aid were perfectly summed up in thei song. before she knew of the songs' existence the guys perfeormed it a cappella for her in her GEffen office. heedless to say it surprised the hell out of her!..

Easily my favorite Weezer song off the Red Album and it's not really even on there, just the deluxe edition.
After reading the lyrics, I think it's about two people in construction - Miss Sweeney and her boss who is in love with her and happens to be the person singing this song.
it's a shame this is only available on the deluxe addition. it's easily the best WEEZER song (non demo) in years. suzanne came to mind for me, too.
satansbride, nah I don't really think so, this is more at a office and Sweeney is his secretary but he is really in love with her and not that he is a demon barberer who's in love with a baker. It's great how they can put in on stage too, as a musical song almost, watch the aucustic on Youtube and you'll see, great song
