took a long while to figure out what he meant on here this song definitely talks there dreams as musicians became real as there normal life is nothing but memory, but sometimes they want it back cause their dream isn't exactly what they'd hoped for. working so hard to spew out that muse for the industry so they can finally rest.
i agree with armedm!! i couldnt believe that nobodys hardly posted anything about this song! i fell in love with it the first time i ever heard it and i love 10 years. all their songs are the awesome but this one is my favorite. its kinda of funny but i dont even really care what it could be about it just simply is awesome and are some really great lyrics. im sure they mean something and they know for sure but the lyrics are written so good it could mean whatever you want it to be. its deep and absolutely just love this band, they are BEST band out there since they came out and still to this day!!!
To my mind this song is about musical industry. Jesse Hasek is always trying to emphasize on it's dark side. Nowadays music became too much of a business and this ruthless machine buit on the base of money lust is slowly killing creative souls of ones who decided to dedicate their lives to art. It turns their passion into just cold professionalisn, their hopes and expectations into dissapointment, it fades out their dreams and don't let their attempts to do what they believe in come into reality.
