Q&A
morning fog Lyrics
My old friend where have you gone
Hopped on a bus in the morning fog
And I feel your stare when I know nobody's there
Don't be gone too long
I'll stay near the phone
Till I hear your steps
Bringing you back home
Now that I'm alone
I can finally say
the words that wouldn't come
any other way
Oh my love where have you gone
Drove off your brother in the morning fog
And I feel your touch
It's just enough
Don't be gone too long
And I'll stay near the phone
Till I hear the steps
Bringing you back home
Now that I'm alone
I can finally say
the words that wouldn't come
any other way
Hopped on a bus in the morning fog
And I feel your stare when I know nobody's there
I'll stay near the phone
Till I hear your steps
Bringing you back home
Now that I'm alone
I can finally say
the words that wouldn't come
any other way
Drove off your brother in the morning fog
And I feel your touch
It's just enough
And I'll stay near the phone
Till I hear the steps
Bringing you back home
Now that I'm alone
I can finally say
the words that wouldn't come
any other way

love this song, so much
Oh how I love this song, listening to this gives me a longing feeling of nostalgia. It's about a feeling that everyone experiences.. longing. This song perfectly describes the feeling you have when you love someone, but you can never say it. It's on the tip of your tongue, and you could never get the nerve to say it.. but no they're gone. "Now that I'm alone, I can finally say the words that wouldn't come any other way" It's self explanatory. Beautiful.
I think I might have played this song over 30 times today. my favorite on the album.
